This release provides the design for the next round of improvements to the omCollab UI.

Requirements Input:

-- Design specification at 188 and development specification at 199 which includes mockup attachments
-- Design for phase 1 while in  test site

Areas of Focus:

  • Improvements to overall navigation [[BR]
  • Wiki navigation

-- Whether breadcrumbs should be added and whether they should only go across wiki pages
-- How to guide users to populate content

  • Social networking

Ways to improve the social networking aspects of this site as per: 186

  • Refinements to non-functional requirements
  • Improvements to landing page
  • Design approach related to home / explore / community tab (further requirements needed here)
  • Design approach to show ads

-- How to show ads in a non-intrusive fashion
-- Recommendations for placement
-- Model should be able to toggle on/off adds without negatively impacting the UI
