This extension highlights contributions to an article, by showing the following:
The most prominent author is highlighted on the page, based on contribution rating (simple count on edits). Within a portlet on the page the following is shown:

• Author avatar
  
• Author ranking (based on number of contributions)
  

-- Ranking system assigns title based on contributions, e.g. “Guru” for 100 contributions

• Link to Author’s Social Profile
  
• Link to contact author (to Social Profile wall)
  

If there are multiple contributors to an article, it will show a link to “other active contributors”

Design considerations

• Whether to use more sophisticated algorithms for ranking and most prominent author
  
• Whether to feature multiple author pictures in box if relevant
  

Technical design notes

A MediaWiki? extension also exposed as a Special Page. The extension may be built into the skin but would more likely be a template that automatically takes article information as input data.
