Overview

Priority: Medium

This extension enables users to easily share content with members in their social network on to invite others to see content through the existing “invitefriends” extension. Links would be posted to the walls of existing users (which may also send them an email notification).

This content sharing would be at the level of a specific article. Shown below are starting point examples from the invitefriends extension.

Users would also have the option of integrating into their email accounts and sending the article to users with the invitefriends extension.

Design considerations

Whether to implement this in the right hand side of the skin or is an icon within each content

Whether to implement this for articles only or for all content pieces, wiki articles, blog posts, forum posts, bookmark, personnel profiles

This same "share" icon could be used to:

• Share with friends on MIKE2.0
• Share with friends through importing a contact lit
• Share with external community through the "sharethis" extension in use today.
